Brownie Base
- Unsalted butter 1 cup (2 sticks)
- Granulated sugar 2 cups
- Eggs 4 large
- Vanilla extract 1 tsp
- All-purpose flour 1 cup
- Unsweetened cocoa powder 1 cup
- Salt 1/2 tsp
- Baking powder 1 tsp
Topping
- Fresh strawberries (hulled & halved) 1 pint
- Semi-sweet chocolate chips 1 cup
- Heavy cream 1/2 cup
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line pan with parchment paper.
Melt butter, mix with sugar, then add eggs + vanilla until smooth.
Combine dry ingredients separately, then mix into wet batter.
Pour batter into pan and bake 25–30 minutes. Cool completely.
Arrange halved strawberries evenly over cooled brownies.
Melt chocolate chips + cream to make ganache.
Pour ganache over strawberries and spread evenly.
Refrigerate for 1 hour until set. Slice and serve.
